The International Executive Board, or IEB, is the governing body of IABC and is accountable to its members. The IEB has supervision, control, and direction of the affairs of the association; actively pursues the association’s purpose; determines its policy within the limits of the law, Bylaws, and Articles of Incorporation; upholds the IABC Code of Ethics for Professional Communicators (link); and supervises disbursement of funds. The IEB develops the strategic plan and direction for the association under the guidance of the Association Bylaws (link) approved by the IABC membership. The IEB serves as the Board of Trustees for the IABC Foundation.
Nominations are now open for the 2025-2026 IEB and Region Vice Chairs.
Available positions include:
- IEB Vice Chair (three-year term with automatic succession to Chair and Past Chair)
- IEB Director at Large (three-year term)
- Regional Vice Chairs for US, Canada East, Canada West, APAC, EMENA and Africa*
