International Chapter of the Year: IABC Newfoundland & Labrador
IABC Newfoundland & Labrador had the highest total score in winning entries of the 2019 CMAs, making them the 2019 International Chapter of the Year. IABC Newfoundland & Labrador will serve as the judges for the 2020 CMA program. Congratulations IABC Newfoundland & Labrador!
Region Leader of the Year Alex Malouf, SCMP, IABC EMENA Region
Alex Malouf is the Past Chair of the IABC EMENA Region. He has been an advocate of IABC and the profession and has supported the region with the development of the first ever IABC conference in the Middle East. Alex continues to build awareness of IABC and create connect with members and non-members through social media, blogging, podcasts, and webinars.
Chapter Leader of the Year Kristy Christie, IABC Malaysia
Kristy is the current President of the IABC Malaysia chapter, where she has implemented new recruitment strategies to grow the chapter and has guided the chapter through processes to get in compliance with local laws. In addition to her role as President, she serves on the APAC Region board, the Fusion conference committee, and has supported other regions with website development.
Large Chapter of the Year: IABC Toronto
IABC Toronto had the highest total score of winning CMA entries from a large chapter in 2019. The chapter took home Merit Awards in the Chapter Events, Financial Management, and Professional Development categories.
Medium Chapter of the Year: IABC Kansas City
IABC Kansas City had the highest total score of winning entries for a medium chapter. They received Excellence Awards in the categories of Chapter Events and Professional Development and Merit Awards in the categories of Engaging Students & Young Professionals and Sponsorships/Partnerships.
Small Chapter of the Year: IABC Newfoundland & Labrador
IABC Newfoundland & Labrador had the highest total score of winning entries from small chapters. They received an Excellence Award in the category of Membership Marketing and Merit Awards in the categories of Chapter Events, Communication Management, Financial Management, and Volunteer Engagement & Leadership Development.
